Shared note

The Lancaster Ledger, March 2, 1904 Mrs. Elizabeth Blackmon, daughter of the late Jacob Faile and wife of Mr. John C. Blackmon of Flat Creek, died last Friday night after an illness of a month or more. She was an exemplary christian woman and died, as she had lived, trusting in her Lord and Savior. Besides her husband, two daughters, Mrs. Charles Mungo and Mrs. James Faile, survive her. Her remains were interred Saturday afternoon in the Blackmon graveyard after funeral services conducted by her pastor, Rev. T. A. Dabney.
