THe Lancaster News, Nov. 30, 1959 M. E. Kennington Minor Ellison Kennington, 87, retired farmer of Route 2, Lancaster, died in the local hospital late Friday following a long illness. He was the son of the Robert and Nancey Blackmon Kennington of Lancaster county. He is survived by his wife, the former Ida Sims; one daughter, Mrs. Curtis Steele of Lancaster; three sons, Thurlow Kennington of Lancaster, J. B. Kennington of Plant City, Florida, and Dewey Kennington of Joliet, Ill.; six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services were docducted at 3 p.m. Sunday from the Camp Creek Baptist Church by the pastor, the Rev. Randall Turner, and the Rev. T. A. Sheppard. Burial was in the church cemetery.
