- **421:** "Vaughan & Lee." The first name is written "Vaughan"; compare Miles Vaughan on page 3.
- **876:** the plaintiff could also be *McKinney*.
- **889:** "Bartlet Jones [?]," read at first as "Imes." Page 117 shows "Bartlet Jones" clearly twice; the clerk's J looks like an I.
- **912:** "Cautzon" again. It appears as a plaintiff and is probably *Cauthon/Cauthen*.
- **916:** probably the same surname as page 27, roll 2859 (*Carnathan*).
- **918:** the middle initial is unclear.
- **922:** the plaintiff is unclear and may be *Jo Matts* or *Mattis*.
